Vintage Mission Arts and Crafts Wood Armchair Custom Upholstery
Handsome vintage Mission style armchair featuring a solid wood frame, broad arms, a tall slatted back, and a comfortable custom upholstered seat.
The simple architectural lines give it a classic Arts and Crafts look, while the patterned upholstery adds warmth and character. It makes an excellent accent chair, desk chair, reading chair, or occasional chair for a Craftsman, Mission, rustic, or eclectic interior.
The chair shows signs of genuine age, including traditional flathead hardware and natural variation beneath the finish. It appears the wood was stained a darker brown at some point in its life. The custom upholstery is in very nice condition, and the supportive webbed seat provides a comfortable sit.
Very good vintage condition overall. Solid, sturdy, clean, and ready to use, with light marks and finish variation consistent with age.
